This is an important milestone in promoting the production capacity and competitiveness of Vietnam's supporting industry, marking the effective cooperation between the Department of Industry and Toyota according to the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The closing ceremony was attended by leaders of the Department of Industry, relevant functional departments, representatives of IDC, Toyota Vietnam Management Board, media agencies and representatives of enterprises participating in the program.

Within the framework of the event, typical enterprises shared their journey of improving production through the program. The presentations not only highlighted the achievements but also reflected the process of applying practical improvement methods, thereby suggesting many development solutions for the whole industry.

Representative of Toyota Vietnam, Mr. Hitoshi Ugi - Director of Purchasing Division, shared about the achievements during the 5 years of implementing the program: "The project has brought many positive results, not only helping to share knowledge and techniques but also significantly improving the production process, improving product quality and ensuring compliance with international standards. This year, after more than 6 months of implementation, the program has achieved results beyond expectations. Not only stopping at specific improvements, but more noteworthy is the strong change in management thinking. This is a solid foundation for businesses to develop sustainably, enhance their position and gradually integrate into the global supply chain."

Mr. Hitoshi Ugi also emphasized the commitment to support domestic enterprises: "The cooperation between Toyota Vietnam and the Ministry of Industry and Trade in supporting supporting industry enterprises is an important part of our long-term strategy. The goal is to promote sustainable development for the automobile manufacturing industry in Vietnam. Toyota is constantly striving to follow the Government's direction, contributing to the development of the automobile supporting industry and strengthening the domestic supplier network, towards the sustainable and long-term development of this industry."

Throughout the process, we have recorded many positive changes, from improving the labor safety environment, raising awareness of 5S management, to developing continuous improvement thinking among the workforce."

These improvements not only meet the requirements of the international market but also help optimize resources, increase efficiency and create momentum for sustainable development for Vietnam's supporting industry.
