What to include in your bottling line

1 - Cleaning machine

The first of the bottling equipment should be the clarifier, which is needed to perform pre-wash of the bottles prior to the filling process. The cleaning machine is usually equipped with a number of changing grippers that, depending on its size, take the bottles and rinse them with several nozzles, through which the bottles are cleaned.

2 - Filling machine

The  filling machine is clearly the heart of any bottling equipment. Through a conveyor, the bottles are moved by several filling valves to inject liquid into them. Especially in beer processing, the filling machine also distributes an inert gas at the end of each filling, in order to disperse oxygen from the top of the bottle to prevent the product from oxidizing. The best filling machines are equipped with a system that prevents the valves from operating when there are no bottles under them.

3 - Capping machine

The capping machine is the last piece of equipment you have to offer if you want to perfect your bottling line. After filling, the bottles move to this final machine where there is a cap for each bottle, sealing the liquid and making the product ready to be stored or shipped elsewhere.

4 - Additional machine

The bottling line may include several additional machines in case you have to perform specific processes for the beverage you are bottling. To get carbonated water or pre-mixed juice, you will need a saturating unit or a pre-mixing unit, a pasteurizer used to pasteurize packaged bottles. There are also many other machines designed to perform specific tasks in the bottling process, depending on the type of process.
