Introduction to Intech Roller Conveyors
Intech offers gravity roller conveyors, chain driven roller conveyors, and electric powered roller conveyors. Roller conveyors are ideal for products with rigid flat bottoms, suitable for applications such as conveying cartons, pallets, etc.
- Gravity roller conveyors work by allowing products to slide on rollers by gravity or by being pushed manually. This has the advantage of working without any motors or electricity, making gravity conveyors a low-cost option for material handling
- Chain roller conveyors are powered by a chain that is integrated into the side frame and rollers via internal bearings and fixed shafts. This type of conveyor is suitable for large pallets, allowing stopping and switching between rollers for increased flexibility.
- With electric powered roller conveyors, some or all of the conveyor rollers are powered to push the product along. This type of conveyor is ideal for small, light loads.
Roller conveyors are used in production lines, flexibly transporting lightweight product lines.
